2019 WCPDF Conference
The Perfect Storm: Investment and Jobs or Bureaucracy and Stagnation
On the 16th and 17th May 2019, the Western Cape Property Development Forum hosted its 6th Annual Conference, with a record, full-house attendance of 250 delegates from both the private and public sector – the latter including senior representation at both local and municipal government level. The theme of the conference, together with the speakers themselves and their topics (see below for presentations), was handpicked to highlight the crisis that the property development and construction industries currently face. There has been incredible feedback on the event, and we look forward to taking the debates, discussions and facts that emerged from the event forward into the formation of the proposed War Room with senior government officials who have now acknowledged the importance of our industry in creating jobs and driving the economy forward.
